With the closure of all of the Filefront sites back late last year,(Filefront was the precursor to sites like the nexus and the first modding community of its kind) the most downloaded and praised mod/expansion pack for the original Knights of the Old Republic was without a high traffic home. The only other way to download the mod was from Moddb and Deadlystream.Given the immense popularity of the nexus sites and the lack of big content mods for KOTOR on Nexus, I decided (with Silveredge9's permission) to upload BOSSR here and breathe new life into it.For those unfamiliar with The Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomons Revenge, it is a mod that provides a significant expansion of content to Bioware’s Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Boasting an epic stor. With the recent changes to Nexus allowing mods more all games, and Knight of the Old Republic specifically, I have decided to continue work on my Jedi from the Start mod. The original version of this mod was released on KotORFiles to great success in 2010.

Since then I have released two more versions on Deadly Stream. Each version has been a significant leap up from its predecessor, with substantial changes and revisions being placed in each one. 0.9 is no different.The dialogue in the first version was, quite frankly, terrible. It was grammatically bad and lacked any style or substance. In more recent versions all of the dialogue has been rewritten, and the quality of the mod has improved substantially. The pacing has been improved and, overall, the mods quality has gone up.

Despite how amazing those stills appeared, we were left wondering what this game would look like in motion. Today, we’re finally presented with a video that gives us a better feel for what to expect from this mod.The folks developing gave this video exclusively to a YouTube user by the handle of, who is himself a big fan of the project. In the video, we see a number of environments from the game. These include Lower City Taris, Upper City Taris, Endar Spire, and Anchorhead on Tatooine. Beyond giving KOTOR a graphical overhaul, this mod will have other additions as well, including new missions, planets, and companions.Poem Studios is creating Apeiron with the help of KOTOR fans.
When it is finished, Poem will release the mod at no charge to the public. Players will need to own the original Star Wars RPG in order to run Apeiron. This is to avoid any legal action that EA or Disney could bring upon them for profiting off their work. This also means that unlike other fan-made projects, such as the one that sought to recreate, Apeiron will most likely not be shot down by its original creators.
