I know the new 4g phones alot of people like. I also know 4g is coverage which alot of markets dont have. I think accountability needs to be in place before a provider sells a product that is in less then half its coverage area. I am not an android fan. I am a Blackberry suporter if you will, but as I stated the Bold is a bad tool, and for $299.00 or $199 after mail in rebate.

- OS 5.0.0.1030 is the next to go on the BlackBerry Bold 9650. Sadly, no OS 6.0 is in sight for the Bold 9650, on Sprint. It will be interesting to see when they actually officially release OS 6. Nevertheless, if you haven’t updated to the leaked versions of OS 6 for the 9650, you at least get a new OS 5.0 build to play with.
I expect more for my money. I am not going to buy a phone for the sake of having it. If more people expected more, then suppliers and providers would provide more.
I would not recomend the Bold to anyone. I still love my tour, but I heard if it breaks now or you have these sometimes weird blackberry systm issues where you need a replacement they will just be sending the bold because the tour is completely gone. Not trying to break my phone or anything lol, seriously, but does anyone know if this is true?!I know for sure verizon is sending the bold as replacements, my friend just received one as a replacement in the mail not knowing it was coming as a replacement after some water damage. I'm not sure about the $29 charge, though. There are some very good features on the Bold 9650, and more coming when they release OS 6. The memory is particularly great. However, the standard battery doesn't have the capacity it should. So I highly recommend you purchase the Seidio 2600Ah Extended Battery/ Back combo (Buy it on eBay and save about $6 from retail).
The device will still fit in the case that comes with the phone. I suggest checking on eBay for all your accessories, especially micro SDHC memory. Why pay more elsewhere. Seidio actually offers two extended batteries for the EVO, too. The quality of Seidio products seems to be very good.If you don't need all the extras featured on the EVO, I think you made the smart choice. To go with the 9650.
